Handmade Holiday Body Puddin' Whipped Soap Gift Set

So, first things first. A big Thanks! to Wendy and Aimee for featuring me on their blogs “Lushious Beauty (in Dutch)” (translation here) and “Creativitae,” respectively.

So, the image up top features a lovely little Body Puddin’ gift set in Holiday scents (Peppermint, Gingerbread and Pumpkin Pie) I have two sizes (2oz & 4oz) available. You can check those out in the “Holiday Favorites” section here. I’ll be adding the Holiday Sampler (soap bars) soon, along with other fun goodies.

New – Whipped Soaps now in *two* flavors!

Not Yo Mamas Banana Body Puddin

That’s right! You might or might not remember the Tybee Island Ocean Potion. If not, it’s a whipped soap packed with sea salt and a hint of ocean aroma. It was released in a 2oz version, but went over pretty well, so I’ve upgraded it to a new 4oz size!

And, now I’ve concocted an out of this worldBody Puddin’ “- which is a whipped soap with the the best-selling “Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana” scent. It is amazing!

I fear the sensation can only be described as like rubbing banana pudding all over yourself. Except, after rinsing, you won’t be sticky – you’ll be clean!

In other news, holiday whipped soaps are being created and will be in the shops soon – along with those holiday samplers that everyone loves. (You wouldn’t believe the preorder list I have already!)

Strange happenings.

Just a quick note/apology: I noticed yesterday, after sending out my newsletter (because I send one to myself to make sure it looks alright :) ) there was a long line of prescription drug names in the header – I have no idea why, but have since looked over my shop files and everything should be back to normal.

I apologize if anyone was confused or wondering “what the heck is all this?” If you didn’t receive the newsletter (mine went to my spam folder because of that weird header) you can view it, and all forthcoming newsletters here.

Thanks so much!

Handmade Holiday Soap Sampler Pre-Order
Friday 14 August 2009 6:28 pm

I’ve decided to open up the pre-order for the Holiday Samplers a little early this year. What’s that mean? You order your sampler(s) now – and they automatically ship out on December 1st . No worrying about last minute stocking stuffers or gifts. The Kitchen’s got you covered.

What’s the deal?
The samplers are beefed up this year. Last year, $5 got you three 1oz vegan friendly soaps in Peppermint, Gingerbread and Pumpkin Pie fragrances, not bad, I know. Well, as we all know, times are tough all over the place – so this year, a mere $6 will get you three 2oz soaps in the same scents! Pretty good deal, huh?

What about shipping?
Shipping for 1-3 samplers costs $2.00 per sampler to the US/Canada, and $5 per sampler internationally. Orders of more than four samplers will get a discounted shipping rate. I’ll confirm the price, once I know the amount you want.

Ok, I’m sold!
If you’d like to pre-order a sampler (or two, or twenty) e-mail me at RobinLynne@gmail.com with the number of samplers you’d like.
I’ll send you an e-mail to confirm the price and get your address*. Then, I’ll send a PayPal invoice so you can easily pay using your Credit/Debit card, or regular PayPal funds. Your samplers will be automatically sent on December 1st and arrive soon after.
*If you’d like a sampler sent to someone other than yourself – let me know their name address) and I’ll be glad to ship directly to your loved one.

Of course, if you’re like me and end up waiting til the last minute anyway – there will be plenty in stock. I’ll be adding these to both shops in a few weeks. Stay tuned!
PS New 4oz jars of Tybee Island Ocean Potion will be ready on Monday!

More updates… already?

Why, yes!

Savannah Soap Kitchen Bath Salt/Scrub

As you can see, I’m in the final final stages of preparing the Bath Salt/Scrub for public consumption.

Also, I’ve reformulated (sort of) a couple scents – to smell even more realistic and true to their names! Sweet Tea (and all tea soaps) is much stronger and smells like a freshly brewed pitcher of tea and Rose is now more fragrant and smells like a bunch of fresh cut roses. You’ll love them!

I’ll be sending out a newsletter soon. That reminds me, I have two versions – but they contain the same content. I prefer the one that uses the sign up box to the right (sign up! you get special coupons!) but I still send out my shop-based newsletter for the few customers who have signed up for it :)

Savannah Soap Kitchen Salt... Stuff?

What’s new?
As you can see above, I’m working on a bath salt/salt scrub concotion – which is soon to be released. I’m having my mom test it out right now :)

Also, I’m already gearing up for the upcoming holiday season. Here’s a taste of what you can expect: 3 pack solid perfume holiday scent samplers, the tried and true holiday soap sampler, and a three-layer (three scent) whipped soap in holiday scents as well – there may be more to come! Also, are you wondering what the holiday scents are? They’re Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pie and Peppermint. Spicy, sweet, cool and reminiscent of the holiday spirit, you’ll love ‘em!

In other news, I hope to get back into the local market scene soon. It’s been a busy couple weeks, but I’m finall catching back up!

Thanks for stopping by :)
