And there are new soaps in the works! I’m concocting a nice shaving soap, a couple extreme luxury bars, I have a new fragrance I’ll be adding to the line, and actually discontinuing a scent or two (Ocean Water will be discontinued once it’s sold out. I think it gives me a headache :( )

Not much else to report, though. I hope to photograph and add those new luxury bars ($10 for ~5oz) to the shops today and get to work on the new scents. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Dandelion on the River in Decatur, Alabama

Why? you ask. Well, friends, I’ll be making a week-long trip back to my home town of Decatur, Alabama and will be unable to ship out orders :)

The shop will still appear open – and you can still place orders, but they won’t be shipped until after the 21st of this month.

Thanks so much for stopping by and supporting the Savannah Soap Kitchen! See you next week :)

New Handmade Soap Packaging

I know, you’re thinking again? But this time, I’m sticking with it.

Let me give you a tour of the packaging. Firstly, the amazingly scented soap is inside a sturdy recycled box, with a scent label on one end. The lovely outer packaging (which makes this soap ready for gift giving or as a souvenir) is recycled scrapbook paper, a dainty ribbon with a logo sticker on front – and a label with ingredients on the back.

What else? Oh, I’ll be vending this Saturday (April 4th) at the Trustees Market, next to the Pirate’s House here in Savannah, from 9am-3pm.

See you there! :)
